Adam Duritz seemed a little off
Outlander In Concert, one star for this was my second time seeing, and they didn't seem to be as sharp this night as the last time. Perhaps Duritz was a little off, or the sound mix for his mic was not properly set, as his vocals for the first half of the show were barely audible. Michael Franti, though, was not the case, as he worked the crowd like a pro and whipped them up. He badly upstaged the main act. The constant in/out of bands and mixed performances was a good idea in theory. However, in practice when there were over a dozen people on stage singing and playing, the sound got really muddy really fast. I wish I could've heard Outlander In Concert play their own songs rather than Duritz singing the first verse and the opening acts coming in and singing the rest. Three for Franti.
